Enrich your life through the arts and cultural engagement

Many Jews understand their Jewish identity in primarily cultural terms. Demographic studies show that a large number of people define their Jewishness in cultural or non-religious terms. In fact, a local study made clear that many people desire being part of a Jewish community, but have yet to find their place. A goal of YourJewish is to connect people living in Jewish households and we invite you to expand your Jewish identity through the performing, visual and literary arts, food, and regional customs and history. YourJewish connects people through performances, lectures, retreats, and other immersive experiences, thereby deepening their connections to Judaism.

Why explore your Jewish culture?

Whether you consider yourself a “cultural” Jew, a religious Jew, or an ally of someone Jewish in your life, it’s a huge part of who we are as a people. Why not pursue an enriched Jewish life through the arts and culture?

Live, love, laugh

There is so much joy to be found in attending professionally produced performances, exhibits, and lectures. We have a rich cultural landscape and we’ll find ways for you to be entertained with content that enriches your soul.

Learn about new art forms

Exploring who we are through a cultural lens helps us understand who we are. Learning through artistic expression and regional customs is an excellent way to better understand ourselves and those around us.

Find joy in doing

There’s nothing like rolling up your sleeves and engaging in a cultural activity as a participant in the company of others. Your life will be enriched whether you attend a Jewish cooking session, visit an exhibit at one of our fine Twin Cities museums, or dabble in printmaking with a local artist.

Add new people to your Jewish life

So many people are experiencing loneliness today, especially after the pandemic. Our cultural activities offer you opportunities to bring new people into your life.
